To celebrate this year’s NAM with the theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain” #ConcertAtThePark will showcase 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒚 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒔 featuring the talented young musicians of General Trias, Cavite.

Formed in 2013, the General Trias Youth Symphonic Band was originally an experimental project of Dr. Dennise R. Columna and Maestro Frenvee C. Andra to showcase the musical prowess of the talented young individuals aged 25 and below from General Trias, Cavite. The group was formally launched in November 2016 after their successful concert organized for Barangay Vibora Fiesta. Moreover, the group was the recipient of the 2019 Local Tour Grants Program of the Cultural Center of the Philippines where they represented Luzon and contributed to the flourishing of arts and culture in the regions.

Jose Jasper Andra, Jan Carlo Salon and JC Portugal will serve as the conductors of the General Trias Youth Symphonic Band. They will perform their rendition and arrangement of Filipino songs composed by various National Artists for Music, such as Cancionero Filipino, Minamahal Kita, and Philippine Airs Medley among others.

Happening this Sunday, 04 February 2024 at the Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium, the show is FREE and open to the public!
