Come and witness the much-awaited military drills at Rizal Park Luneta, highlighting the Changing of the Guard and Silent Drill!

Military drill is the preparation of the troops for their duties through the performance of prescribed movements to improve the unit’s solidarity and efficiency. The Changing of the Guard is a ceremony where the incoming honor guards exchange duty with the outgoing honor guards assigned at the Rizal Monument, Rizal Park Luneta. On the other hand, the Silent Drill Exhibition displays a highly disciplined platoon that performs calculated and synchronized drill demonstrations using their rifles without the need of a spoken order. 

The Changing of the Guard Ceremony will be held at the Rizal Monument, Rizal Park Luneta, on 24 September 2023 (Sunday) and 29 October 2023 (Sunday), 4:00 PM; while the Silent Drill Exhibition will be on 08 October 2023 (Sunday), 4:00 PM. These formal rites will be performed by the respective members of the Philippine Marine Corps.
