Position Description – Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares and maintains Financial Accountability Reports (FAR).

Percentage of Working Time  Statement of Duties and Responsibilities
5% Prepares monthly statement of allotment obligations and balances for decision-making purposes or as the need arises.
10% Prepares, posts, and submits FAR 1 – Statement of Appropriations, Allotments, Obligations, Disbursements and Balances and FAR 1a – Statement of Appropriations, Allotments, Obligations, Disbursements and Balances by Object of Expenditure in coordination with the Accounting Section.
5% Prepares, posts, and submits FAR 3 – Aging of Unpaid obligations in coordination with the Accounting Section.
5% Posts BAR 1 – Quarterly Physical report of operations.
20%  Assists in the preparation of Budget Proposal and posts Budget Execution Documents to Online Submission of Budget Proposal (OSBP).
30%  Checks Obligation Request and Status before the signature of Budget Officer and monitors’ budget.
10% Prepares Modification Advice Form (MAF) and Advice for Use of PS Allotments (APSA) for realignment of budget.
15% Acts for in behalf of the Budget Officer in his/her absence and does other related duties (Committee membership).
