QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education: High School Graduate / Vocational / Completed Apprenticeship
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience as Park Maintenance Worker
Training Training on Basic Electricity or Maintenance of Electric motors/submersible pumps
Eligibility None required
Skills Knowledge of handling electric motors and submersible pumps

POSITION DESCRIPTION – Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the operation of the fountains, falls, and lagoons.
  • Assists in the preventive maintenance of the equipment
  • Assists in the draining/refilling of water, cleaning, and washing of the pool/lagoons.
  • Makes minor repairs to the plumbing and equipment used for the fountain, falls, and lagoons.
  • Checks/monitors the status and condition of the fountains, falls, and lagoons and initiate a written report or request if maintenance and repair are needed.
  • Documentation of accomplishment reports.
  • Open to work at night, weekends, holidays, overtime, and change of time schedules in the exigency of the service.
  • Performs other tasks when the need arises.
