Balitbitan is a medium-sized tree that can grow up to 26 meters high. It is found all over Luzon, speficially in Cagayan, Rizal, and Quezon. It has a beautiful assortment of light green, yellow green, and pink leaves. It is planted as a decorative tree in towns and cities and also used for tool handles and woodcraft.
Ang Balitbitan ay isang puno na may katamtamang taas na maaaring lumaki ng hanggang 26 metro ang taas. Ito ay matatagpuan sa buong Luzon, partikular sa Cagayan, Rizal, at Quezon. Mayroon itong iba't ibang kulay ng dahon - luntian, dilaw, at rosas. Ito ay nakatanim bilang pandekorasyon na puno sa mga bayan at lungsod at ginagamit din para sa mga hawakan ng kasangkapan at ibang gawaing kahoy.
