Position Description

Brief Description of the General Function of the Position (Job Summary)

Prepares and maintains accounting books of accounts, monthly trial balance and financial statements.

Percentage of Working Time  Statement of Duties and Responsibilities
35% Prepares Journal Entry Vouchers;
10% Checks and verifies if tallies the Trial Balance and other supporting documents to different subsidiary ledgers;
15% Prepares NPDC Financial Statements and Accounting Journals including Trial Balance;
15% Maintains Supplies Ledger Card, Property, Plant and Equipment Ledger Card, Construction in Progress Ledger Card and Bank Reconciliation Statements;
10% Prepares Alphalist using BIR System and remits taxes withheld during the required period;
5% Prepares Quarterly Report of Unliquidated Cash Advances and Dormant Accounts and other requirements from the Commission on Audit;
5% Posts and submits FAR 4 Monthly Report of Disbursement and FAR 5 – Quarterly report of revenue and other receipts; and
5% Acts for in behalf of the Chief Accountant in his/her absence and does other related duties.
