POSITION DESCRIPTION
Brief Description of the General Function of the Position (Job Summary)
Supervises accounting activities, certifies availability of funds and recommends approval of payments.
Percentage of Working Time | Statement of Duties and Responsibilities |
20% | Supervises accounting activities. |
15% | Reviews and approves Disbursement Vouchers and its supporting documents. |
15% | Reviews and approves Journal Entry Vouchers, Accounting Journals, Subsidiary Ledgers including schedules, monitoring and billings, Trial Balance and Financial Statements and other accounting reports required by COA, DBM, Senate, Congress and NPDC including its Governing Board. |
10% | Supervises and approves remittance of taxes withheld. |
10% | Certifies and monitors availability of funds against Program, Activity and Project. |
10% | Reviews and approves billing to concessionaires and registered vendors. |
10% | Prepares Monthly Disbursement Program for the given year and performs cash management for the agency in coordination with the Supervising Administrative Officer. |
5% | Reviews FAR 4 Monthly Report of Disbursement and FAR 5 – Quarterly report of revenue and other receipts. |
5% | Prepares all communications in relation with NPDC accounting activities such as but not limited to response to COA audit observations and requests. |
