Banuyo

Banuyo is a large tree that can grow up to an impressive 30 meters in height. Its leaves provide a lot of shade, while its termite-resistant wood is used for decorative items, furniture, and boat-building. Its big flowers with white stamens bloom from September to December, and are source of nectar for honey bees. Its fruit, a woody brown pod, comes out from January to October. Ang Banuyo ay isang malaking puno na maaaring lumaki hanggang sa kahanga-hangang 30 metro ang taas. Ang mga dahon nito ay nagbibigay ng maraming lilim, habang ang kahoy na lumalaban sa anay ay ginagamit para sa mga bagay na pampalamuti, muwebles, at paggawa ng bangka.
