Position Description – Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all minor tree pruning and trimming activities at the park for safety, security and aesthetics purposes
  • Operates basic tools and mechanized equipment for the conduct of maintenance activities
  • Shall be part of the Emergency Response Team of the Agency
  • Ensures that all tools and equipment for pruning operations are ready for use and properly maintained
  • Responsible for reporting and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Function as part of the emergency response team during disasters and inclement weather conditions to perform tree pruning-related tasks
  • Prepares and submits documents, reports and forms required by the agency
  • Performs other related tasks and duties
