Position Description

Brief Description of the General Function of the Position (Job Summary): Prepares, maintains and updates documents, records and reports required for disbursement through Advice to Debit Account (ADA), through Check as well as through cash that should be submitted accurately and within the prescribed deadline. Implements to payee’s various government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

Percentage of Working Time Statement of Duties and Responsibilities
25% 1. Prepares and submits Report of Advice to Debit Account Issued and Report of Checks Issued on or before the deadline to Accounting Section.
2.Prepares Advice of Checks Issued and Cancelled (ADA and Check – eMDS, WinACICDES).
3. Prepares Checks for various payees.
4. Prepares Summary of LDDAP-ADA Issued and Invalidated ADA Entries.
15% 5. Checks ACIC approvals/cancellation in eMDS and prepares the same for submission to Landbank.
6. Prepares enrollment of New Internal Creditor.
7. Prepares payments on various claims of employees through ATM Payroll.
10% 8. Prepares and submits Report of Accountability for Accountable Forms (Checks) to Commission on Audit.
10% 9. Prepares and submits Liquidation Report.
10. Releases checks to various claimants.
10% 11. Posting of status of Creditor/Payees claim in the NPDC Website on a weekly basis.
10% 12. Maintains and updates Checks and Advices to Debit Account Disbursement Record.
10% 13. Drafts communication regarding compliances of payees on the acknowledgement of payment.
14. Answers queries of payees through various modes of communications.
5% 15. Assists the Head of Cash Section in supervising the disbursement.
5% 16. Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
